The new iGaming content agreement between Sportingtech and iSoftBet is a "major milestone."

In a move that strengthens Sportingtech's omni-channel Quantum platform, iSoftBet has teamed with the developer of iGaming software in order to strengthen its presence in the European market.

In order to "bring the best gaming experiences possible to a greater worldwide audience," Sportingtech will integrate casino content from the online games supplier onto its user-friendly platform. Meanwhile, iSoftbet will take advantage of the platform provider's presence in regulated markets throughout Europe, supplying its games portfolio to the company's extensive operator network.

The first company to benefit from the agreement will be the Malta-based online sportsbook and casino operator Betzest, which will stream iSoftBet's premium content live via the Quantum platform and make popular games like the gold mining-themed Gold Digger, the award-winning flagship video slot of 2021, Moriarty Megaways, and the recently released Colossus: Hold & Win available to players.

Ivo Doroteia, the CEO of Sportingtech, commented on the new partnership, calling it a "major milestone."

"We have unmatched expertise in regulated markets, and this relationship now allows us to provide our operator network, which includes Betzest, with even more high-quality games.

"We are eager to collaborate with iSoftBet to provide the best gaming experiences to a larger global audience."

Portugal's significance

In Portugal's regulated market, the partnership is of "special significance," according to iSoftBet, which plans to leverage Sportingtech's "expertise" to strengthen its position there after becoming one of the first game suppliers to obtain a license.

Head of Business Development at iSoftBet, Lars Kollind, stated on the official blog that they are "eager" to work with Sportingtech because they are "hungry to make substantial ground in regulated markets throughout the world."

He continues by saying that Sportingtech's strength in Europe is "unmatched," particularly when it comes to the Portuguese market, and that they "relish" the possibility of the development they are about to make.

Market control:

The first online sports betting license was granted to Well Operations Limited, operating under the Bwin brand, on May 25 of the following year. Portugal's regulated online gambling market, which is still relatively new, come into operation in June 2015. A little over a month later, on July 25, 2016, the nation's gambling regulator, Serviço de Regulaço e Inspeço de Jogos (Gambling Inspection and Regulation Service), granted an online casino license to Estoril Sol Digital Online Gaming Products and Services, SA (SRIJ).

The most recent partnership comes after iSoftBet and Kaizen Gaming, one of Europe's fastest-growing gaming technology businesses, reached a content integration agreement through the operator's Betano brand in Bulgaria. The two organizations' relationship is further strengthened by the new partnership; the provider, with headquarters in London, previously partnered with the Kaizen brand Stoiximan in 2019.
